Today we are joined by Lauren Scruggs Kennedy, a business woman, NY Times Best-Selling Author, activist and blogger. Lauren’s story is one of extreme determination and growth after a tragic accident. Several years ago, Lauren was pulled into the propeller engine of a plane and lost her arm and her eye. In the wake of the accident, her faith in God and in herself is now unshakeable. But it was a long road to get to where she is now. Lauren’s passion to bring hope, restore dignity, and ignite faith in girls and women with limb loss inspired the Lauren Scurggs Kennedy Foundation. The foundation provides beautiful cosmetic coverings for prostheses. In our conversation today, Lauren shares her personal journey with us all, the work she’s doing to help other women living with limb loss, and how her parent’s relationship influenced all of her future relationships.
